Meet Ana Luisa Santos @atelesfilms

As one of the only female Portuguese wildlife filmmakers, Ana produces, directs and shoots long form blue-chip behavioural wildlife and natural history documentaries broadcast across the globe. Her mission is to tell stories about real animals with wild behaviour. Educated as an engineer, she studied, worked and volunteered in countries such as China, Turkey, Spain and Kenya. Based in the Netherlands, she actively contributes as a judge for main wildlife film festivals in Europe and USA.

Recently, Ana Luisa was featured on the Jackson Wild Spotlight and she was selected for the first edition of the Jackson Wild Cinematography Lab, a partnership between Jackson Wild, the American Cinematographer (ASC) and Wildlife Society of Filmmakers.

Ana Luisa was also featured on #HabitatuncoveR3D on Red Digital Cinema.
