Hazel Palmer
Meet Hazel Palmer @hazelpcam
Hazel has been working as a broadcast camera operator for the past 20 years alongside being a single parent. Now that her full-time parental duties are over she is making the most of being able to commit to work and travel, and would dearly love to move into professional wildlife filmmaking. She has all the necessary skills - outdoor survival skills, working at heights, patience, friendliness, adaptability, excellent storytelling skills and a quirky and creative eye for a shot. She has spent time working with Flying TV and The Helicopter Girls as an aerial cinematographer and currently works across theatre, documentary and sports - keeping her camera up with actors' emotions, F1 cars and Wimbledon tennis balls.
