Meet Laura Pennafort @laurapennafort

Originating in Brazil, Laura is now based in Bristol, UK. Laura has worked as an AC and 2nd camera on blue-chip natural history sequences on a variety of environments and is always keen for an adventure. Curious on learning about new technology and filming techniques, Laura has experience with macro, high speed filming with Phantom, underwater housings, gimbal, motion controlled rigs and remote cameras - but is particularly enthusiastic about long lens work and flying drones.

Over the last year, Laura has worked as an in-house camera operator/AC at Wildstar Films for an upcoming Natgeo & Disney+ series, learning from a range of talented cinematographers. Her previous experience working in a busy kitroom has allowed her to be an efficient assistant and to quickly fix tech issues on location.
