Graduating with a degree from Edinburgh Napier University in Film (specialism in Cinematography), and a thesis written on filmmaking ethics within natural history films, Claire was employed by the BBC Natural History Unit on a year long Camera Assistant Bursary with ‘The Watches’ (April 22-23). The camera bursary has immersed her in the NHU camera department allowing her to work in live TV, sync work with contributors and presenters, remote camera operating, long lens operating, drone operating and camera assisting, and has supported her to further develop her technical/creative skills as a camera assistant, long lens operator and drone operator.
