Meet Deirdre Leowinata @d.leowinata

Based on the coast of British Columbia, Deirdre works largely off of boats in remote areas, which means preparation and resourcefulness are essential. Deirdre prides herself on her technical savvy, storytelling skills, and her ability to stay calm under pressure and keep morale up when things don't go quite as planned. She thrives in small crews where multiple skill sets, creativity, and good bonds between team members are key. Deirdre is strongly driven by a desire to improve the human relationship with the planet, and balances blue chip shoots with local conservation campaigns in British Columbia that are at the heart of her work.
