Meet Helen Hobin @helenmh
Helen spent three years working on Frozen Planet II at the Natural History Unit, learning from a vast range of talented cinematographers. She is Bristol-based, and currently working as a BBC Camera Bursary on a new blue-chip wildlife series, primarily filming long lens and drone. Helen is used to working in remote locations, shooting from hides, trees and varied trekking terrain, with huge curiosity and enthusiasm for both the natural world and camera technology.

Key Skills: UK Drone Pilot PfCO, FAA Part 107 US Drone Pilot, previously IRATA Level 1 Rope Access Technician/experience filming long lens from tree canopy, First Aid in Remote Locations, I-Visa valid for US work until 2027, GSS trained & experience assisting/jib operating/early GSS-opping from boat, U/W river filming, PADI Advanced Open Water Diver, RYA Powerboating Level 2.
